Introduction

We offer an export from your Cash Log and your Stock Audit Trail that is formatted in a way that will upload directly into Sage 50 or 200, once you have completed the initial set-up.

Please see our separate article on exporting to Sage Payroll.

Integration Settings

To complete the initial setup, go to Administration > Integration Settings. Activate the Sage Accounting section by ticking the checkbox. Your first choice is to choose which version of Sage you are using: Sage 50 or Sage 200.

Depending on which version you choose, you will then need to enter Nominal Codes (along with Cash Bank numbers and Source Code for Sage 200).

You will also need to complete Sage Account Reference and Department Codes in the Administration > Venues > Venue Details > Financial Settings screen, per venue.

Tax Codes are assigned to EPoS Items within the Item (PLU) Manager. The export will then break down Lead Types by Tax Code so that all sales are grouped by the tax rate. The Petty Cash line uses the Tax Code assigned to the petty cash supplier within Administration > Stock Suppliers.

Cash Log export

Once the settings above are in place, you will then be able to export the figures from Reports > Revenue Analysis > Cash Log into a CSV spreadsheet file.

This can then be imported into Sage.

Note: You will require the permission Administration > System and Financial in order to complete the Export.

Stock Audit Trail Export

This report can be found by going to Reports > Operations Analysis > Stock Audit Trail Report, and this can be exported in a CSV format that can be uploaded into Xero.

Note that this function is currently formatted for Sage 50 only.
