Introduction

We use two types of printers with the Kobas system:

  • Thermal: These are the majority of printers we need. These use heat to print the receipt and don't require ink to be replaced. These cannot be used near heat sources, so we don't recommend these are used in Kitchens. We used to supply Aures ODP333 units, and currently, we supply Oxhoo TP85s.
  • Impact: These printers do use ink and make contact to print on the paper. They can be used near heat sources, so we recommend their use for kitchens. They are reliable. We supply Star SP747 printers.

Note: We do re-use your existing equipment where this is compatible and we can do this. However, this is on a best endeavours basis, and the support we can provide to devices we do not supply is limited.
