Integrating with Booker Wholesale
Order from UKs market leading wholesale provider within Kobas.
Before you get started
First you will need a Booker account, you will need to request your unique Booker location ID codes from your Booker contact. These identifiers ensure your stock deliveries are sent to the correct venue, be sure to double-check them, as any mistakes could result in your order being delivered to the wrong location.
Setting up Booker Integration
To turn on this integration:
- Head to Administration > Integration Settings
- Click the Booker EDI Tab
- Tick the box
Next, add the Booker Location IDs you’ve received to your venues in Kobas. This ensures that stock orders are delivered to the correct locations.
- Head to Administration > Venue Settings
- Select which venue you would like to edit
- Go to Details Tab
- At the bottom, enter the Booker Location ID correctly
- Click Save & Exit
- Repeat for multiple venues if needed
Set up Booker Supplier
To set up a Booker supplier:
- Head to Admin > Stock suppliers
- Press New Supplier to create a new supplier
- Add supplier name, check Delivery supplier and Booker EDI supplier
- Add any additional info for supplier
- Click Save Supplier
Set up Ingredients
You can add your Booker supplier to existing ingredients or create new ingredients. Below are the steps to add Booker supplier to an existing ingredient.
- Head to Operations > Ingredients
- Select Edit on an existing ingredient
- Click Add Supply at the bottom of the Supplier list
- Add supply ingredient details, and select your new Booker Wholesale supplier from the dropdown list
- Add Supplier code
- Click Submit
- Optional - Set Booker as Default supplier for the ingredient
- Click Save & Exit
Once your Booker supplier and ingredients are set up, you’re ready to place your first stock order with Booker. Follow the usual stock ordering steps in Kobas. For more details, see our guide on placing orders within the stock system.
