Introduction
We have various training sessions available to book online or in person, covering all aspects of the Kobas system.
Each session lasts 1-1.5 hours and subjects are customisable based on whether you are new to each area of the system, or if you are looking for a refresher on something you're already using.
Additional training on areas already covered during your Implementation and onboarding process will be charged, and discounts are available when booking more than one session at a time.

Navigation & Administration
This session covers the basics of logging in and navigating Kobas Cloud, as well as how to create your venues and define some of the global settings which affect your account.
EPoS & Menu Setup
This session covers everything you need to start taking orders in venue. You will learn how to create and edit EPoS Items, add Modifiers and Discounts, and add all these to a customised menu which will appear on your tills. It will also introduce you to the Kobas Stock system and explain how your EPoS Items affect the stock usage in your venue.
EPoS Training
This session is usually held on site on your install day for new clients, and covers how to use Kobas EPoS in venue. The session will cover taking orders, adding discounts, using tabs and taking payments, plus using deposits and reservations, recording stock usage, and accessing previous sales data. We will also walk you through the Daily Tasks, including cashing up the till, recording petty cash and checking staff hours, which are the basis of all reporting in Kobas.
Staff, Rotas & HR Management
Here you will learn how to use our Recruitment Portal to advertise job vacancies, manage applications and onboard new staff, how to create and review Rotas and the hours your staff work, and how to export these for use in your payroll processes.
Stock 1: Recipes & Movements
In this session, you will learn how to create and edit Ingredients and their Suppliers, and how to link these to your EPoS Items through recipes and Batch items. Here you will learn how to complete stock checks and analyse the results, as well as performing line checks.
The CIC, Online Ordering, Customers & Loyalty
This session covers the setup of your Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) portal, customising your online menu, setting up a loyalty scheme and managing your Kobas customer database.
KDS
This session covers the setup of your Kitchen Display System (KDS) in Kobas Cloud, as well as using the system in your kitchens.
