Using Airship with your Kobas account

Unlock rich insights into your customers' spending behaviours through your Kobas data and maximise your marketing efforts to increase revenue.

Introduction

Airship is a hospitality-focused CRM and Marketing platform that allows clients to increase revenue through client engagement by helping you to understand your client data.

Airship allows you to report on and analyse your customer data, as well as email your customer base to further drive footfall and repeat custom.

Configuration

To activate your integration, you will need to head to Administration > Integration Settings > CRM. Once checked you will see the API integration credentials.

You will then need to press the Copy button (two pieces of paper) and then email your details to your Airship customer success contact to activate the integration.


The data that we send to Airship

Once activated, your customer and transaction data will be sent in real-time from Kobas. The following information is sent:

Customer details

  • Full Name
  • Email
  • Mobile Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Full address
  • Marketing consent

Transaction data

  • Venue
  • Transaction date
  • Kobas Order number
  • EPoS Item names, quantity and value
  • Kobas Item ID

Top Tip: Airship will also support a backfill of historic data on request.


QR Codes

You can utilise the Airship email tools to market to your customer base. You can add QR codes to these emails that are compatible with Kobas EPoS.

Loyalty Campaign

Kobas features Loyalty campaigns, whereby you can target customers with various schemes to encourage them to make purchases. There are two types of campaigns that will generate QR codes that can be added to your email marketing:

  • Single-use discount code
  • Multi-use discount code

In order to generate the CSV with codes, follow the instructions here.

Loyalty Code

Each of your loyalty customers will have a QR code that can be scanned on your EPoS in order to link that transaction to their account. To obtain a CSV file with these codes, please contact the Support Help Desk.

How Airship process this

Once Airship receives your CSV file, their Client Success team will:

  1. Set up the reward
  2. Send the special link to the client

You will then only need to build an email and embed the URL link that Airship sent.

After that, your customer receives an email, clicks on it and can get their reward which will have an embedded code.
